The art of communication
Well, it’s kinda weird reading the Namewee "Negarakuku" news lately, the government is accusing Namewee for disrespectful to our national anthem, "Negaraku". But Namewee insisted that he started from musical point of view. So, it shows same issue, different opinion.
Same goes to communication between a man and a woman. Have you ever heard of the phrase, "Men come from Mars, women come from Venus."
When women talk, they just want to be listened, but men want to provide solution. This is where conflig begins if you do not understand the logical behind. When woman talks, she just want you to listen, if man asks questions or interupt to give comment, then she will think that you are not listening. The other way round, when man talks, he wants you to ask more, to give comment or opinion, else, he will think that you are not listening.
Besides that, the defination of certain word also irritates both sexs. 1 example, faithfulness. When men say they are faithful, it actually has a more ‘physical’ meaning, like, kissing, hugging or holding hands. When women talk about faithfulness, most of the time, it has a more ‘mental’ meaning. Men don’t regard yum cha with female friends alone, or talking to female in a flirting manner as unfaithful.
Every couple has different uncommon ground, and I’m giving the example after listening to few friends, reading, and observation. So, understand your men or women, know what the silence or the questions means.
After re-reading my post, I found out that some might think that I wrote this blog after a quarrel with my wife… Nonono, we are fine… I’m writing this blog merely from what I observed, read, heard and know.
Anyway, another point to add, Namewee finally asked to attend a court hearing… He who make music has to face the music… That’s the world, different point of view…
